Do you provide the alcohol?

In BC, liquor laws require that alcohol must be purchased by the host of the event or with an existing liquor licence. Tamp & Muddle Co. does not carry a liquor licence, so we cannot supply or offer the sale of alcohol, but we can help you order what you need.

If you book the Lavish Liquid x T&Mco Mobile Bar Package, they carry a liquor licence and can provide liquor with a minimum spend.

What kind of permits are required?

It depends! In some cases you will need to acquire a Special Event Permit. We are happy to guide you on this, but we recommend visiting the local Municipality of where your event will be held for specific requirements.

Can you service a non-alcoholic event?

Absolutely! Our bars are equipped to provide a workable space for many types of events including coffee, zero-proof cocktails or mocktails, and more. Your options are only limited by your imagination!

Do you provide bartenders?

Whether you rent our bars or not, We work with reputable Bartenders and Mixologists to serve your guests. These are independent businesses or contractors that have gained our trust in providing top notch bartending services.

Can we rent the trailer and have our own bartenders?

We prefer to work with Bartending Companies that have earned our trust to provide an amazing beverage service, with the utmost professionalism. When you rent our bar trailer, you can rest assured you are getting the best in the industry!

If you have a bartending company you like and trust (or are a bartender), we may consider renting the trailer with a Refundable Damage Deposit.

Do you provide glassware?

We provide disposable cups, straws and napkins when you hire our bar trailer.

If you are wanting GLASSware, we are more than happy to procure beautiful glassware options from our preferred vendors.

Where are you based and how far will you travel?

Tamp & Muddle Co. is based out of Chilliwack, BC. We travel within the Fraser Valley and Greater Vancouver area. If your needs are outside of this area, Feel free to ask! If you book us as early as you can, we may be able to plan around your event (additional fees apply).

What is your delivery fee?

Our delivery fees vary depending on the location of your event and your actual order. Many factors are taken into consideration such as truck packing, travel time, onsite unpacking, fuel and truck expenses. We do our absolute best to try and make your delivery and pickup fee affordable and certainly do not use delivery charges to make a profit.

To give you an idea of how we price our deliveries, we take into consideration the following:

• Anywhere between 1 – 3.5 hours travel to your location.

• Arrive and unload your order may take another hour.

• Travel from your location to our warehouse is approximately 1-3.5 hours.

• And then returning for pickup, everything mentioned above reoccurs.

Do you have a rain date policy?

Though we cannot change dates last minute due to inclement weather, all of our bars work well under tents (or even inside). That’s the beauty of a Horse Trailer…it’s small and weatherproof! We spent extra time and funds to make sure our bars can withstand the rainforest environment BC is known for. The host is responsible for tent coverage of the bar, but we are happy to work with your tent vendor to find the appropriate size tent for your event.

What is your payment and refund policy?

A 25% non-refundable retainer fee will be required to book. A payment schedule will be arranged and agreed to in a signed contract and the final balance is due 28 days before your event date. We do not provide refunds.

What does the travelling bar require for set up?

Our bars and lounge sets require flat ground for setup and service, early access for set-up and break down, and 1 dedicated standard 110V 15 Amp electric outlet.
