our story
Tamp & Muddle Co. was born while savoring a cocktail. An idea that had been brewing for some time, but needed a motivating kick to get started. Enter the COVID-19 Pandemic.
From previous work related injuries, Jake and Jaclyn had the long term goal of starting a business together that was team oriented and practiced work/life balance. Due to the pandemic, Jaclyn’s Business of 10 years closed, and Jake took the leap to start his own Custom Metal Fabrication business. Our long term goal of starting T&Mco suddenly became first priority. With the newly flexible schedule and the property to work on, we pulled up our sleeves and got to work.
We are a husband and wife team who have combined our skills, experience and passion to create beautiful experiential bar & lounge spaces.
Jake is a Journeyman Steel Fabricator. With his 18-year experience in the Steel Industry, creative and inventive mind and passion for perfection, he brings the structural design of the bars and tables to fruition.
Jaclyn is a Branding Specialist with 18 years experience in marketing and service-oriented business logistics. She also grew up in an entertaining family, so has decades of experience in event planning and execution.
Together, we are Tamp & Muddle Co. A Travelling Bar Company.
Why a Travelling Bar Company?
We are always on the hunt for the new local coffee shop or craft brewery. You’ll often find us jumping behind the bar at a friend’s wedding or dinner party creating concoctions, or passionately talking about espresso extractions, cherry varieties or tasting notes of a single malt whiskey. Don’t confuse us for snobs though (well…we might be coffee snobs) but we REALLY enjoy tasty beverages and sharing the experience with others.
When enjoyed in a balanced and healthy setting, coffee and alcohol both bring happiness, social interaction, inspiration, and unity.
Our mobile bars and lounge sets provide the right tools to accomplish this.
What makes us different?
We value clear and consistent communication. Fun Fact: we dated long distance for 2 years, so our communication is pretty tight! In event planning, good communication is key for success.
We collaborate with local businesses and contractors, making sure you get top-notch service. With a history of owning small businesses and understanding the importance of supporting local, we would rather delegate and feature those who have decades of experience in crafting and serving cocktails combined with our bar & lounge rentals.
Our bars & lounge sets are designed and built inhouse. This means you can’t find the same experience elsewhere. If you have a need for a custom bar build, we’re your solution.
